Syllabus 2014 Details for Clerks & PO (Probationary Officers)
The
Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the competitive exam at an
all India level for the recruitment eligible candidates in all the Scheduled
Commercial Banks of India. The candidates participating in the examinations are required to
appear and qualify in the CWE (Common Written Exam) and Interview
respectively held mostly in the October/ November months each year for the
Clerks and Probationary Officers.
The main
sections covered under the IBPS Clerks and PO Recruitment Exam cover the
following: Quantitative Aptitude (Mathematics), English, Reasoning, General
Knowledge and
Computer Operations respectively.

General Knowledge
The
General Knowledge section shall include all the topics of current affairs and
general knowledge related to economic and social issues of India. The questions
covered under this section shall include Banking Industry recent updates and
changes in more numbers hence, applicants must prepare accordingly.

are the basic five sections covered in the Common Written Exam conducted for
Clerks and Probationary Officers.
